Vaccinations

Before travelling to Nepal it’s recommended that you have a number of vaccinations.

According to the Tropical Medical Bureau, the following vaccines are recommended when travelling to Humla, Nepal:

 

  • Polio/Tetanus
  • Typhoid
  • Meningitis (ACYW)
  • Hepititis A & B combined (3 shots over one month)
  • Rabies (3 shots over one month)
  • Dukoral (Cholera) (2 doses at least 14 days apart)

The total cost for all these vaccinations is in the region of €300-400. If you have had travel vaccinations in the past then the price will be reduced accordingly.
