By sponsoring a village you make a major donation to help an entire community work its way out of poverty.

Village sponsorship helps to meet the collective needs of a community by investing holistically in either a micro-business, healthcare or education programme. Foundation Nepal works with seven villages – Thehe, Simikot, Bergaun, Kharpunath, Melcham, Dandafaya and Maila – in remote parts of Humla, Nepal.

The cost of sponsoring a village varies depending on the village and the particular programme. On average, it costs €3,500 to fund a micro-business programme in a village for a year, while, on average, €12,500 would provide healthcare for a whole village for a year. You are welcome to sponsor an entire programme or part of a programme.
